Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

Beware of the discouragers in your world. When you set out to do a good thing, count on people rising up to discourage you, if not, stop you.

Then the peoples around them set out to discourage the people of Judah and make them afraid to go on building.
                                                   --Ezra 4:4 TNIV

The people of God are back home, excited to start the re-building project, to rebuild Jerusalem, yet in a flash, the discouragers show up, and be clear about this, their goal is to stop the re-building, to quash the good news, and they will use any method including lies and deceit to stop it all. In the case of the people of God, the discouragers succeed, at least for a season.

Discouragement is omnipresent; it doesn't mean it's true, just that it's there. We can't make it go away, but in the name of God, we need not allow discouragement to triumph. One caution: beware that you are not a discourager.
