Hebrews reminds us that the people of God are fickle; they promise, but quickly fall away, and wander astray from the God they love and promise to serve. Hebrews exhorts: "Don't do that." "Hold firmly" (3:14)
Yes, God is gracious and is our strength. Yet somehow we are part of the perseverance matter, so today, let us hold firmly.
