Not only is Hebrews 11 the definition of faith, but it gives a thousand year history of people living by faith.  "All these people were still living by faith when they died.  They did not receive the things promised, they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance..." (11:13)  "These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised." (11:39)

Suggestion: Read Hebrews 11 once per week; read our faith heritage of people wrestling with the same "stuff" we do.  To live by faith...it is defined brilliantly, and vividly illustrated right here.
