GOD'S WILL

Frequently I hear people asking how to discover God's will. It's not like peering into a crystal ball.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:1 TNIV

We want to know God's will. Paul tells us that it can be known, however, he gives us a means. The means is the transformation of our minds. A transformed mind is one shaped by Christ; such a mind may have the opportunity to tune into God's will.

When is the last time we surrendered to God to say, "Transform my mind, change my thoughts, my behavior to match your desire for me?" Such a prayer, such a commitment, puts us in a much better posture to know and live God's will.
