Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

GOD ORDERED

The biblical world sees a God-ordered society. In other words, God is front and center; creatures and creation answer to God and are summoned to live God-directed lives.

Does the clay say to the potter, "What are you making?" Does your work say, "The potter has no hands?" Woe to those who say to their father, "What have you begotten?" or to their mother, "What have you brought to birth?"
- Isaiah 45:9,10 TNIV
Yet sinful humans want it the other way around: Creation-Ordered. Creatures and Creation are quick to judge and hold in contempt the Creator. We tell the Creator the kind of god we want and what worship and belief is acceptable. Such sounds very 21st century but Isaiah's words show it's the sorry human condition.

Yet thank God it's a God-ordered existence, otherwise we would be forced to take comfort in and find hope in... one another for better or worse. Praise God for a God-ordered world. "God is God, and I'm not. Neither are you!"
