Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

In a couple days we celebrate "O Holy Night."  We are familiar with "Holy Communion" or the "Holy Bible,"  but there is an even more important "holy."

But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God who saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.
                                                   - 2 Timothy 1:8,9 TNIV

Paul tells his apprentice, Timothy, due to the grace of God at work in their lives to give God back in gratitude a holy life. Holy means set apart, in this case for God.  Not for Paul, not for Timothy, not for the god of self, but be holy unto God.  He "called us to a holy life."

As we approach that holy night, please let us consider how we have given back to our Lord Christ a holy life, our lives!
