Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

"What you doin'?" "Oh, just some things." Those things are more
important than we at first may think.

And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted
in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.
These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
- Titus 3:8 TNIV

The "things" that Paul urges Titus to consider amounts to the way we
live, the practice of daily discipleship. "Nothing more important,"
Paul says than being devoted to doing good, honoring God, and
honoring the people God brings into our lives.

We are also urged to trust God not solely as a mental exercise of
what we think and believe, but our trust in God is an ethical
commitment to how we live. And, how we live is about how we live with
all those people around us. Those are some big "these things."
