Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

Christian discipleship is not merely about beliefs, thinking, but it is to translate into the way we live.  However, what we think, our minds, it's central.

When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
                                                    - Mark 5:15 TNIV
The demon-possessed man, now in his right mind, is living evidence of the power of Jesus Christ; yet the community was staggered by the good news, because it forced a change of mind upon them all.
I don't suggest that we all wrestle with demon possession, however, when Christ enters our lives, it always involves a change of mind, conversion, transformation.  Like a demon, though, we tend to fight it. We want Jesus in our lives, but not to change things. Instead, we just want to slightly rearrange things, find a place that's comfortable.  That's religion, not discipleship.  Jesus knocks on the door of our lives, and wants to put us in our right minds, give us kingdom of God thinking.  Up for it?  Then pray for it.
