UNBELIEF

Christians are people of faith; in other words, we belief that Christ is the Son of God, our hope, our redeemer, and our future. That is our belief. But...
Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

Sure we believe! But the father of the demon-possessed boy, speaks words that all of us know tell our story, too. It's not just belief, it's unbelief, struggling to get over the hump of our beliefs, but also our doubts, our fears, our anxieties.
Too often we describe our lives, our world as opposing forces: Yes or No; Either-Or, With me or Against me, or, belief or unbelief. Take heart, we are summoned to belief, but it's not an either/or proposition. Discipleship is about growing into our belief. Yet...make sure you keep on growing.
