Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

"Why that's impossible," we'll hear.  Routinely we use the word, "impossible," to rescue ourselves from our dreams, and fall to rationalizations.

Jesus looked at them and said, "With humans beings this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."
                                                 -- Mark 10:27 TNIV
Jesus enters the topic of "impossible" on the heels of his conversation with a rich person who decided he'd rather keep his riches than inherit the kingdom of God.  He went away sad, but rich.  Rich for a while, at least.  To which Jesus spoke about how hard it is for rich folk to enter the kingdom of God.  Hard, but not impossible.
Rich or poor, salvation is of God, not by the size of one's charitable donations.  What is impossible for a rich guy, or even a poor person, well it's not impossible for God.  We worship and serve today, rich or poor, a God who does the impossible day after day.  Christians ought to use the word "impossible" sparingly, and with caution.
