Enjoy Life, Enjoy God

My late father-in-law was something of a "gift hoarder." His closet was an inventory of dress shirts and ties his family gifted him with over the years, but he'd never even taken out of the package.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; it it is teaching, then teach...
                                                    --Romans 12:6,7TNIV

Paul teaches us that we too are gifted. But he urges Christ-followers, not to be proud or hoarders. Not proud? Yes, it's a gift, given to you, nothing to get proud about. But neither are we to hoard, to save up our gifts, but once we've discovered our particular giftedness, unpack, unwrap it and use up that gift!

We have gifts. Let's put them to use in service of Christ now!
