GROWING

One of the good things that happens at the New Year is we re-evaluate, and ponder how we're doing. From whence comes RESOLUTIONS. It's like doing a check-up with your doctor. So, how are you doing as a Christ-follower.
A. Dead in the water?
B. Holding my own?
C. Making observable progress and growing?

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
                                    ---2 Thessalonians 1:3 TNIV

How marvelous that Paul commends the Thessalonians--they are growing as Christ-followers, and it's observable by how they live. How do you think it happened? Were they merely putting in time, and that caused the change, the growth? Or do you think they were intentional and dedicated to growing in Christ?

This time next year more than likely we will do some re-evaluation once again. In the name of Jesus Christ, what can we do intentionally such that we can say, "We are growing more and more, and the love all of we have for one another is increasing...?"
