ACCOUNTABLE

I suppose all of us are for patience, tolerance, graciousness and mercy, but is there still a place for accountability?

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished...
                                                   ---2 Thessalonians 1:8,9 TNIV

I know such words as those above are troubling, but they are part of God's Word to us; they are the package! Mercy and grace mean nothing if there is no accountability, settling up, judgment, or accounting. Paul reminds us of this sobering and life-saving truth.

Thanks be to God in Jesus Christ, we savor God's mercy and grace.
