The Sadducees again try to trap Jesus in a question deriding the notion of resurrection.  And it's an important question and issue.  Read the story in Matthew 22:23-33.  But when Jesus answers their question he challenges them, in other words, "If you really knew God, and the Scriptures, you would not ask such a question."

That challenges you and me too.  The error is not simply the questions we ask, but we puff up our view of self, yet still know little of God's Word or the power of God.  What a tragic error, yet one that we still have time to correct.
