SOLO-TOGETHER

There is something about our spirit that makes us "solo." We kind of prefer to do it ourselves. We may like people well enough, but we "do our own thing."

"Again, truly I tell that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
                                                  --Matthew 18:19,20 TNIV

So how do we follow Christ, yes, one by one, but together. There is much that can be said about the words above, but the bottom line is, if we're serious about following Christ, it will not be a solo proposition, but a together one.

What does this say to our "solo" thinking and living? Change! Jesus sent them out into the world to follow him, two by two, not solo. Who's coming with you? With whom are you going?
